Fireside chat - Winning the argument before you have the proof: Convincing the board before the data agrees with you
Every CFO eventually has to make the case for something before the numbers can fully back them up, a bet, a cut, a bigger investment. This panel gets into how CFOs actually build enough credibility to win that argument in the room, what they lean on when the data isn't there yet, and what it costs them the one time they were wrong. Key takeaways: - How CFOs build enough credibility to win a boardroom argument before the proof exists. - What they lean on instead of data: track record, framing, or trust borrowed from elsewhere in the business. - What happens to that credibility the next time they ask for something, after they've been wrong once.
